2. Ambush: This ability roots and slows your target, making it excellent for initiating attacks. It consumes all combo points you’ve accrued to deal additional damage, so managing those points is crucial.

Combo Points & Damage Output

· Combo Points: You build these by landing basic attacks; you’ll see the points displayed on your screen. The trick is to maximize your damage when you have these points ready.

· Base Damage Boost: The dagger's base damage increases by 5% per combo point consumed during an ambush. Keep this in mind—it’s crucial for burst damage.

Recommended Skills

Here are the key skills for a successful dagger build:

1. Frenzy Slash: Great for dealing damage while moving towards your enemy. It allows you to track targets that might be retreating.

2. Trusting Slice: This can pass through enemies, but it’s tricky to land since it lacks tracking. Double Neck Tab is another option, but it has a longer cooldown.

3. Cloaking: Use this ability strategically, especially against ranged enemies trying to shoot at you from a distance.

Stats Distribution

· Dexterity Focused: Since the dagger scales better with dexterity, you should aim for at least 350 points in dexterity for optimal performance.
